This page will contain my current and planned computers. The idea being that you can look at them and give suggestions, gain inspiration or mock me. All prices are the best when I found them and do not include possible postage.

This machine will hold files like music and video and backups in a raid1 setup using freenas. Ideally it will also have a small webserver as well so as to hold a home intranet. Memory, case and psu are all hand me downs.

I want something powerful that is future proofed. This will be the last machine I get (around August 2010 probably). I am hoping there are some boards with USB3 by then.

The goal of this machine is to run media centre and firefox, that is all. It will be getting a hand me down dvd drive to begin with. Future upgrades will include a blu-ray drive and gfx card while also upping the ram to 4gb.
