I spent this morning shooting nazis on the wii, basically just killing time until 1pm when I got the bus to Wandsworth and watched The Happening. As a Shyamalan fan I was looking forward to the film especially having really enjoyed Lady in the Water. As it was I could see what he wanted to achieve and there were certain aspects of his magic in there but it just seemed distilled by too much gore. Not truly terrible though. I then met up with Cathy and Beth to see The Incredible Hulk which was worse than the Happening. Basically there were too many plot holes throughout the film and they just built up to ruin it. So two relatively bad films in one day at the cinema. After the films we went to Sainsburys which was frustrating because the dappy old woman behind the till couldn’t work the card machine properly and somehow my card was declined. What the hell, I have checked my bank balance and it is fine so whats the problem? Anyway we eventually paid and she got the queue of people behind us annoyed and we headed home. I made Beth a curry and then we watched the season ending of Inbetweeners which Beth and I have gotten into, shame we have to wait for the next season for more. I know how my father feels now with all the good series ending at the same time. But hey all is not lost Top Gear is back this Sunday.

Beth spent the rest of the evening going over hairstyles with Cathy and we had a quick go at Ghost Squad on the wii which turned out to be a little too short for our liking with only three levels in the game its over in about 45mins. Not a bad shooter though but definitely not worth buying. I also talked to Paddy and we have finally got a date for the stag day. It will be on the 17th July so invites will be going round soon.
