Our tale continues as I awake on the plane 3hrs later and decide to watch some of the rubbish tv they have, I watched Joey and King of Queens the latter was terrible. We somehow managed to turn our hour and a half deficit into a half hour one and it only took me 15mins to get through the immigration queue at Gatwick. I am glad I am not American because their queue was horrificly long. I then went in search of a trolley because with two big suitcases I didn’t stand a chance without one. It took me 20mins because Gatwick were so disorganised with them that there weren’t any. It was not helped of course by people taking two or three of them. I then had to wait and wait for my luggage to arrive, only one of the suitcases turned up, so I waited some more and was then told that no more were coming. I had heard US Airways has a habit of losing luggage and now I experienced it.
I filled in a form to get them to deliver it to my house and they said they would try and deliver it round tomorrow. I didn’t really believe them but hey if they want to try then knock yourselves out. I walked through customs and met my grandparents who had been waiting all the while I had been looking for my suitcase (I apologise for that). I went into WHSmiths and got the Official Nintendo Magazine and an Independent (which comes with a bottle of water worth more than the paper). I was driven to my mothers school where I talked to her for about 20mins before being taken home. I watched TV for an hour and then had lunch. The afternoon was spent relaxing and playing computer games. I was still quite well awake (ish) when my grandparents came back round and I displayed the 980 photos from my trip to America. Yes 980 that is what I am fighting through to get online, I reckon it will end up being about 100-200 which I have to do manually… fun. I got an early night which I greatly enjoyed.
