Jonners' Canterbury Tales

I love spending a morning relaxing with computer games, a good book and the internet. I could quite happily live my life with those three things. It gets even better when Beth comes over as she did this morning. The plan had originally been to go for a walk in Richmond park but a sense of not being bothered and it being cold stopped that idea quite quickly. Instead we had lunch, played wii and watched QI and also Dr No. The film was then followed by watching Harry Hill with Beth. She wanted to go home after this point and I couldn’t be bothered to stop her so I walked her to Froebel before heading back to the flat and eating dinner. I got an early night at 10:30.

I feel a brief explanation of the Wii game that Beth, Cathy and I keep playing is in order. It is called Excite Truck and technically it is meant to be rubbish. We disagree, it is the one racing game that Beth and Cathy like and are good at. Indeed they are better than I am. It involves racing full speed through forests and over mountains. The winner is not necessarily the person who comes first, it is the person who gets the most stars that is victorious. Stars are won by drifting, flying off jumps and ever crashing. Therefore I always finish the races first but am never aiming to get lots of stars thus I fail. It is a very fun game and I expect my mother would enjoy it also as it takes the total drivin’ formula and makes it much better.
