I got up just before my alarm went off, I do this quite regularly and it is overly tedious. I got up and met Be for breakfast at 8:30 where I had a bagel before going and getting showered and properly dressed for my lecture. I packed some stuff to stop me from getting bored in the editing suite and then off I went to TVR.
The teacher didn’t talk for long and we were soon up there making our final cut. By lunch time we had pretty much got through all of the stuff that we could do on the whole day and pretty much resolved to leave as soon as our teacher had seen it.
I went back to my flat as our lunch break began and filled in the form to select our modules for next semester. I think I picked the right modules however I still worry that I didn’t. I went to meet Shorla for lunch but didn’t see her so went home and ate lunch with Be. After eating I made my way back to editing and we showed the teacher our film he was a lot happier with the material we had (maybe hes given up on us) and so we just left 10mins later ready to do our sound edit next week.
When I left TVR we were worried about bumping into the teacher and him telling us to go back, this kind of happened I did managed to bump into him but he didn’t seem at all bothered about our toddling off.
On my walk towards the Belfry bar I saw Matthew John who went to our church and is now in his third year at Roehampton, it is the first time I have seen him at university so we had a little chat. I went into the bar after leaving him to go back to editing and bought my ticket to summer ball. Unfortunately the band playing is Goldie Looking Chain which could be… interesting. After spending £40 I went down to Froebel lake and continued reading my book. I am really getting into The Time Travellors Wife now it is a brilliant book. Its quite slow going and there are 500 odd pages so it will take me a while. I leave froebel after half an hour after it starts to cloud over and watched the Harrison Ford film ‘Patriot Games’ which I really enjoyed and found much better than I thought it would be. After the film I looked into why my loan had not left my bank account and found rather shockingly that I had moved the money into the wrong bank account and the cheque had bounced. The reason I moved it into the wrong account is I am used to moving money accross when my dad was paying me when my loan wasn’t enough to cover accomodation so I thought I had to move money. I have now moved the money into the correct account and will need to email to find out what to do (the worst thing is the bank decides to take £40 for my mistake, cheeky *beep*!).
Be got back from her Screenwriting lecture and we had a mishmash dinner of Sweetcorn, Chicken drumsticks and rice. After this and the subsequent washing up we got Cathy up and watched Mission Impossible 2. The problem with Mission Impossible 2 is its in a kung foo style which I hate. Its one of those that you would either love or hate for being unrealistic and rubbish. I am of the second variety. However during the film (in the first 20mins) Cathy got a phone call. A very nice phone call, it was the girls from the second flat that we looked at saying that they would like us to live with them. Jumping around and excitement followed as we told everyone including my parents and I was very pleased as they are lovely girls from what I have so far surmised. Anyway back to the rubbish film which Cathy left after and then Be went as well and I got an early night after my one before where I spent half the night playing games!
