Was up at 9am and just about managed to bump into Be for breakfast in the kitchen after my shower. At 11:10 I headed off to my seminar which as ever was boring as anything but luckily it didn’t last long and it was the final one. When I got back to Lee Be had gone off with Sean and co to see feeder perform in HMV to promote their new album so I decided to spend my day watching films. I had my lunch and then watched Peter Jacksons early horror film ‘Braindead’ you could tell it was low budget by the pointless amount of gore and poor soundtrack. It was an alright form of entertainment and I enjoyed it a bit but I would not really wish it up anyone. After it finished I posted it back to screenselect and got on the bus to Hammersmith. From here I went into the tube station to go West to Ealing. The problem was that due to a heatwave the trains were being forced to run slowly and so I had to wait ages for a slow train. On arrival at ealing I found the cinema quickly due to my having been to Ealing before twice when looking at my second choice university Thames Valley. I arrived and got my ticket for 16 blocks which basically has Bruce Willis in a role he’s play 10,000 times, it was good though and I left entertained. I then had 10mins to stew before the next film Ice Age 2 started. It is definately a lot better than the first one and I enjoyed it although the Possums are the most annoying characters I’ve ever seen. In fact the characters from the old film are really the entertainment especially Scat continuing his quest for nuts. After Ice Age it was 8pm and so I went to Mcdonalds for dinner before phoning my parents to tell them about the flat and my accomodation payment not going through (see yesterday). After this I went back to Ealing Cinema for the third of my new films for the day. This time I was going to see the film I have been eagerly awaiting for a long time (3 months) Silent Hill my review pretty much sums up just how truly brilliant this film was. I loved it so much, it is the first horror film I think I have truly loved. After the film it was 11 so I made my way back to Roehampton arriving about 2mins after Be and co. Be came into my room and we entertained eachother for a couple of hours till 2pm when she left and I wrote yesterdays blog while talking to her father about Metabolism among other things. I finished yesterdays blog at 2:45 and went to bed straight after.
