I kind of forgot to write the blog for my happenings on monday before I went to bed last night so odds are you should read that first
I got up at the silly time of 8:30 today and spent the first hour playing computer games until I decided to have my shower and breakfast. Be joined me towards the end of my breakfast and I read the Princess Bride until it was time to head to Creepy Crawley at 10:40. I drove Be over to Crawley and I think I managed to do so without scaring her. When we arrived we bought our tickets for the first of our two films Firewall starring Harrison Ford. While not the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen it is a very good hostage pic with Ford on top performance. I reccomend it. After the film we bought tickets for the 3:20 showing of V for Vendetta and then we went to Pizza hut and took them up on their lunchtime buffet. There was a bit of a queue and the dunces of Crawley don’t know how to queue. I pointed out several groups of no hopers as we sat there (read my musing on the lack of iq of Crawley). After our meal which went quickly we spent quite some time waiting for the waitress to get her act together and actually collect payment.
We left Pizza hut at 2 and went shopping in Crawley. I had to restrain Be from going in clothes shops and also from standing in Ottakers and reading a whole book. We went around my usual shops and then headed to WHSmiths where I finally got round to buying Stephen Kings ‘Cell’ and I also found Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood for £2.99 in HMV (also got 10% discount on it).
We got back to the cinema at 3pm and put the books in the boot of the car. We took our seats in the cinema and the start of the film was delayed 15mins for no reason whatsoever. I think its possibly even better the second time around than the first. By the time we left the cinema it was 6pm and we spent 5mins sitting in the car because the key wouldn’t turn in the ignition so I called my parents who told me to wiggle the wheel which worked. What kind of stupidity is this!
I took Be home via the country and got her home safely by 6:30pm. When we got back we put our pie straight in and then forgot about it till it was nearly ready and then rushed to do the vegetable and baked beans. It was a big pie and after our buffet we struggled to eat it. We spent the evening after this point just lying around. We went to bed at 1ish when my parents and sis were back from seeing Les Miserables!
