Woke up far too early this morning at 7:30 so went back and tried to sleep a bit longer managing all of an extra 45mins. Played a game of Madden then showered and met Be for breakfast. We lay about till 11 and then were chauffered by my mother to Worthing and the beach. It was a beautiful sunny day by the sea, not at all cold and the wind wasn’t up to its usual harsh nature. I took quite a few pictures on the beach which will eventually find their way onto the gallery. Pointed out to Be Brighton just along the coast where Sean lives and also the Seven Sisters cliffs which you could still see even though they are miles away.
We went to lunch at 12:15 after deciding the tide was going out, my mother took us to a cafe near the sea front where she has eaten before. Me and Be got cod and chips and she got a philadelphia sandwich. The food tasted great and we sat outside savouring the british weather (I think by the last couple of days we can happily say spring has finally hit).
After eating we walked along the pier… and then walked back. We then got ice cream and looked at a childrens play area before taking a walk along the promenade where we saw a race between two old people on their old people machines (what are they actually called somebody fill me in).
When we got to around the end of Worthing beach we noticed a small land mass in the far distance and decided it must be the isle of wight which is absolutely miles away but apparently it can’t be anything else. We walked back to the pier along the beach and the tide was now coming back in.
When we got back I collected a souvenir of a crabs claw and then we lay on the beach for a bit before going back to the car and seeing a seagull attacking someones car aerial (their own stupid fault for tying ribbon to it). We got back home around 3pm and I noted how we had managed to get vaguely tanned from our 3hrs at the beach. Me and Be napped in the loft for the afternoon and then had pizza at 7pm before playing Apples to Apples and then going to bed at 11:30!
