Once again up early. I decided when I woke up that I wouldn’t bother to go to church this morning. I had heard bad things about the preacher y’see. Instead therefore I went into town and walked around for a bit getting my days exercise. When I got back I read some of David Beckham’s autobiography until my dad had cooked duck for lunch. In the afternoon I watched a feed from China of the Fulham vs Manchester united game. I was very distressed that we lost the game 5-1 and I think the manager has a good number of changes to make to the side. The defence for instance was dreadful, they couldn’t stop crosses or anything else. The goalkeeper Niemi was poor as well. The only hope seemed to come from the midfield team. It was a right shame that the season has to start so badly and that most of the fans on the forum are already asking for manager Chris Coleman’s resignation.

After the Fulham game I watched the Chelsea vs Manchester City game with my dad. It was a relatively easy 3-0 win for Chelsea and not a bad one to watch. In the evening I played a little Football Manager as my mother got home from her sisters after spending time on the Isle of Wight. I can’t think of much else we did, by the time I emailed Beth at 11:15 I was very ready for bed.
