I got up this morning at 8am and got ready for church. I headed out of the house with my father at 10:10 although I was to be the only member of my family actually attending the church service this morning. The service was a good one, linking a language from the 1800’s from ladies movements with hand fans to gestures which Jesus made. After the service I went to the small park by my house and phoned Beth. We talked for 15mins as today is the day she is to go back to America again. This is sad as I want her for longer and wish she could stay every day of the year (although I am sure her parents would have something to say about that idea).When I got home from the park after using up all the phone credit I bought on the day before (how do I use £10 credit on 25mins of phone calls? Come on Orange) I sat down and watched the GP2 race from the morning. It was a good race but the Grand Prix at 1pm was better. Schumacher was 2nd on the grid but won it after Raikonnen fuelled too lightly, I correctly guessed he would be in on lap 10. The race was full of drama and was very interesting. I was glad that Schumi continued to close the gap on the annoying Alonso. After the race I spent the afternoon on the computer and playing games. In the evening I saw my grandparents for a bit before we had duck for dinner. After eating I prepared for waiting up for my Beth to call me after her flight got in. I spent some time online but got an early night at 10:15. I watched the film Howl’s Moving Castle which is a brilliant Japanese Anime adaptation of a book. I stopped it half an hour from the end however as I was tired and so thought I’d watch the end when Beth phoned at about 2am. I fell asleep quickly and the phone call never came, I ended up waking 8hrs later.
