I got up at 8:30 when my father came and knocked on the loft door. I got ready and packed my bad and found I was too early to leave so I hung about for 20mins before heading out the door with my bag. I headed to the station and bought a 1 day travelcard then go on the 9:50 to Victoria. Now according to the website it would be faster on this train for me to change at three bridges. Seeing as the train didn’t seem to stop at many places I chose to ignore the website and was right. I arrived at clapham junction at about the time the three bridges train left the station. (They need to sort their site out, its usually spot on). I got to Barnes and then bought phone credit. I arrived at the university before Beth and her family and spent 10mins walking around and reading the book I had been reading on the train.
They turned up at 11:20 and Beth and I took them on a tour of the campus. It appears that the campus is used for summer camp for a load of Italian kids, they seemed to be all over Digby college. Anyway Beths parents and sister seem lovely, it was great to meet them and I really liked them. When we were done at Roehampton (and after we had broken into Lee House and found Beths room open with someones stuff sprawled everywhere, we went into Putney and ate at a Greek restaurant. This was a new experience for me and it was very tasty, I enjoyed my first taste of Greek food. The Blombergs gave me a Bill Bryson book which was nice of them and after eating we went for smoothies.
The Blombergs headed off in the car leaving me and Beth to go into London. We had a lovely time alone together and went from the BFI shops to Trafalger square (on the way Beth stood in a fountain and got a little wet and we got water and ice cream.) At the square we ended up spilling ice cream on ourselves before heading off to my film shop. We walked around for a bit before meeting both sets of parents (mine had found their way up) and going to eat in Pizza Express (where I will be going again on thursday for my birthday). The parentals seemed to mix well and got on fine. After the meal I hugged Beth a lot and our parents walked off for a bit leaving us alone. I said my final goodbye at Green Park tube station. The train home took a while as it was slow one, stopping at every station known to man (except Faygate). We eventually got home and I played F1 ’06 for a bit and called my Beth who was trying to get to sleep. We talked for half an hour with a break in the middle where my phones battery died so she had to call me. When she was gone I went to bed.
