I got up at 9am today and then went to have breakfast with Be before retiring to her room. We sat in there for about an hour before she had to leave for a lecture. We left the room and I took the door off the latch and shut it, she then realised that she didn’t have her key with her and I had effectively locked her out.
She went off to her lecture and I read one of my research books. Oh I also invaded France on Medieval Total war. be got back and phoned security about her room, this was half an hour before we were to go out to see Mission Impossible 3 and so we had lunch before meeting everyone and heading off to Putney (security had not come). I saw a bus to Putney at the traffic lights and told everyone we could make it if we ran, only myself and Jess ran as the others were pessimistic and we both made it on. The others then decided to start running, we told the driver to wait 30secs but he was having none of it!
We eventually all met in Putney 10mins before the film started so we made our way into the cinema and watched the film at the top of the lower tier. The film was amazing every bit as exciting as I could have hoped. My review is here. After the film we made our way back to the bus stop and reminisced about the film. I feel now is a good time to complain about the cinema. The Putney Odeon looks pretty rundown and you cannot expect much and this is what you get. We had some incompetent fool on the projection who kept stopping for 5mins and putting on The Corrs before he found the right reel to put in. It was pathetic and I won’t be going there again!
We got back to Roehampton on a very hot and sweaty bus and when we got back Sarah had Be’s door key so she could into her room, apparently Sarah made up some excuse for the posters on the door as being her fathers as he is from Colorado. We sat down for dinner and I asked Sarah if I could borrow her tv and she said yes. Have eating we went down to the bar for Cabaret at which our floor rep was playing. It was a good night out however I forced Be to leave early so that I could get sleep before our night hike. I ended up in her room for half an hour before leaving. I was just getting into bed when our floor rep started singing “Beth and Jonathan sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G” which was fun we both left our room and Sarah went to Be and said “do you love Jonathan?” and Be said “I love you Sarah” and gave her a big hug, I guess to shut her up. I went back to bed!
